City process, step by step

We begin with a site walk: mapping ramps, drains, utility covers, planters, and high-traffic lines. We set route priority with you so critical entries never slip.

Pretreatment lands before rush hour so snow never bonds to pavers. During events, we run micro-loops, check traction, and clear crosswalks first.

We confirm ADA compliance on every pass, keep hydrants and fire lanes visible, and coordinate with city plows to reopen curb cuts.

What you get day one

  • Kickoff call with your captain
  • Map + priorities loaded into our route app
  • Trigger depths and response timers set
  • Reporting cadence chosen

Result: calm, predictable service that keeps your building open, safe, and beautifulno matter how messy the storm gets.

Safety, compliance, and hospitality in the city

Slip-and-fall prevention is baked in: cones, signage, friction checks, and melt records on every pass.

We place piles where drainage is safe and avoid planter burn, turf damage, and curb staining.

Your property looks open for business even when weather disagrees.

Deep dive: melt strategy for city hardscapes

City surfaces are variedstone plazas, brick walks, polished concrete, metal thresholds. We inventory them, then pick chemistry that protects color, grout, and texture.

We track application volumes to minimize residue and staining. If temps crash, we switch to blends that stay active longer without harming pavers.

For decorative concrete and luxury stone, we favor liquid pretreatments plus gentle granules only where traction demands it.

Operations dashboard you can trust

Transparency keeps you calm, your leadership informed, and your guests protected.

Data includes response times, friction readings, and melt usage per surface so you can audit performance and budgets.

When storms overlap, the dashboard highlights surge staffing so you know the plan.

Metrics we track nightly

  • ETA accuracy rate
  • Friction scores before/after each pass
  • Chemical volume per surface
  • Photo coverage percentage
  • Hotline pickup speed

Because we measure everything, we improve everything. Your city sites benefit from a feedback loop that never sleeps.

Silverton is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. The city is situated along the 45th parallel about 12 miles (19 km) northeast of Salem, in the eastern margins of the broad alluvial plain of the Willamette Valley. The city is named after Silver Creek, which flows through the town from Silver Falls into the Pudding River, and thence into the Willamette River. The community of Milford was founded in 1846 with a sawmill, store and several other buildings two miles upstream from the present location of Silverton. In about 1853 a second sawmill was built on Silver Creek near where the Silverton city hall now stands. In 1854 the town of Silverton was platted and registered with Marion County. Human habitation of the Silverton area extends back approximately 6,000 years before the present. In historical times, the region was dominated by the Kalapuya and Molala peoples, whose seasonal burns of the area made it plow-ready and attractive to early 19th century Euro-American settlers. Farming was Silverton's first major industry, and has been a dominant land-use activity in and around Silverton since the mid-19th century.
